The Program

A 10-week after-school football pilot for 60 students at Collège Méthodiste de Frères, split into three cohorts. Football, mentorship, academics, and life skills, all together.

Junior · ages 8–10

20 students. Fundamentals, joy, coordination through play-based coaching.

02

Middle · ages 11–13

20 students. Technique, teamwork, and discipline with positional play.

03

Senior · ages 14–16

20 students. Tactical play, leadership, and mentorship pairing.

Two touches per week per group, plus a Saturday joint session. Designed as a realistic starter model. Not elite training.

The pilot is paced to meet students where they are: repeated touches, progressive drills, game scenarios, and enough rhythm across the week for learning to stick.

Staffing

  • 1 Qualified/vetted Head Coach
  • 2 Assistant Coaches (alumni or vetted)
  • 1 Program Coordinator
  • 1 First-Aid lead per session

Equipment

  • 30 footballs, training cones & bibs
  • 60 uniforms (jersey + shorts + socks)
  • Portable goals & pitch markers
  • First-aid kit + water station

Safety

All coaches and volunteers are vetted through ID review, references, interview, and a child-safety orientation. No coach or volunteer may be alone one-on-one with a student.

Every session has a designated first-aid lead, signed parental consent, and a coach-to-student ratio of 1:10 or better.
