For Parents

A CMF alumni-founded football and mentorship pilot for 60 students at Collège Méthodiste de Frères. Here's what the pilot is, what we promise families, and what we ask of you.

What the pilot is

A 10-week after-school program at CMF, run by former CMF students who want to invest in the next generation. Three cohorts by age, two training touches per week, plus a Saturday joint session with mentorship.

Football is the doorway. The full program also includes academic check-ins and life-skills workshops on leadership and financial literacy.

The pilot starts with 60 students. If it works, it grows.

What we promise

  • • Vetted coaches with ID review, references, and a child-safety orientation.
  • • No coach or volunteer alone one-on-one with a student.
  • • A designated first-aid lead at every session.
  • • Coach-to-student ratio of 1:10 or better.
  • • Regular attendance reports and parent updates.

What we ask

  • • Signed parental consent before your child can join.
  • • Consistent attendance and respect for the coaches.
  • • School uniform compliance and academic effort first.
  • • Honest communication if anything goes wrong.

How students are selected

We accept 60 students for the pilot, with a waitlist of 20–30 in case a place opens. Selection prioritizes CMF students with parental consent, balanced across three age cohorts (8–10, 11–13, 14–16).

Where students meet

After dismissal, students report to a supervised gathering point at the CMF gate. Attendance is taken before anyone boards.

Transport process

A bus monitor verifies the roster before departure and on arrival at the field. No student rides in a private vehicle. No route changes. Full safety model →

Pickup process

Students return to CMF for parent pickup. You list authorized adults in advance, and each pickup is signed. Late pickups are logged; repeated late pickups may pause a student's place.

Required consent

Signed parental consent for participation, transport, emergency medical care, and photos/video for non-commercial program updates.

WhatsApp updates parents receive

  • • Reminder before the session
  • • "Students have boarded. We're leaving CMF."
  • • "We've arrived at the field. All students accounted for."
  • • "Session over. Returning to CMF."
  • • "Students returned to CMF. Pickup is open."
  • • Cancellation message if conditions are unsafe

Attendance policy

Students must remain in good standing at school. The program supports school. It does not replace it. Repeated unexcused absences may pause a student's place so the spot can go to someone on the waitlist.
